The Boston Red Sox, enjoy the oldest stadium in MLB still in operation. Opened in 1912, The Fenway Park opened five days after the Titanic sunk. Known for it green wall, located at the left field, called the 'Green Monster'. It was constructed in 1934, it measures 37 feet and two inches high. Originally built to protect pedestrians and cars from Lansdowne Street, it has given the Fenway Park, personality it is now mark at the park.
The Red Sox won their first World Series in 1903, when they were know as the Boston Americans, against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Since then they have won 6 World Titles, the most recent being won in 2004, after an 86 year interval.
