Team Information
The Florida Marlins are considered a very successful team in the MLB. If you consider they have been added just a decade ago into the majors, the Marlins have already won two World Series, one in 1997 and in 2003. They began to be known as 'the team who shocked the world', because they beat the baseball spread that were against them.
Ironically due to their game success, the franchise started experiencing some difficulty mostly because low attendance. The team's managers have stated that a new retractable roof, baseball only stadium is necessary to survive the upcoming seasons, if the new stadium is not built they have said, the team would look for relocation to another city. San Antonio, Texas has been doing their pressure to ensure a relocation but recent new forces have been pushing to make the Marlins stay at South Florida. Still the negotiations are on their way and the possibility for the Marlins to move is still open in case the talks in South Florida don't lead to a stadium deal.
