There will most certainly be quality players available at those picks, but nowhere in the class of Greg Oden and Kevin Durrant, who are slated to become the top two selections at the draft held on June 28th. It appears that the draft lottery has set the rebuilding programs for these two clubs back many years. On the other hand, the New York Knicks were saved from embarrassment from their trade for Eddy Curry from Chicago. If Chicago had won the lottery with the Knicks ’draft choice from the Curry trade, it would have been the equivalent of trading Eddy Curry for Greg Oden.
