The Louisiana State University Tigers were founded in 1893 and over the years have been consistently one of the best teams in the country, definitely a team to bet NCAA football on.

The Tigers have had several players inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame including; Doc Fenton (QB & E), Abe 'Miracle' Mickal (RB), Gaynell (Gus) Tinsley (E), Ken Kavanagh(E) and Tommy Cassanova (CB).

Louisiana State's famous 'Earthquake' game was played at Tiger Stadium on October 8, 1988 against Auburn University. With less than 2 minutes remaining in the game LSU scored a touchdown and took the lead, the fan's reaction registered as an earthquake on the school's seismograph.
