Just like the NFL teams have their ups and downs, so can a gambler. There are many variables in football gambling that you need to pay attention to.
Football gambling has become a very popular pastime for many men and women who love pro football. However, just like many teams will have cold spells during the season, or even several years, the same is true for those individuals who are involved in football gambling.
Each year a great team will have a cold spell. Perhaps they’re not working as a team or there has been so many injuries that they just don’t have the same chemistry that they usually have. Or, perhaps it’s just bad luck. In football gambling, the same thing can happen to those individuals who wager on a regular basis. It’s not uncommon to go several weeks and win the majority of your games, but what happens when every game you pick the complete opposite happens? This is the dreaded cold spell that many people go through when they enjoy football gambling. This is a predicament and finding the best way to work through it is very challenging.
 You may not want to hear this, but sometimes the best thing you can do is simply take a break from your football gambling. Sometimes you just have to step back and spend some time watching and enjoying the sport without placing a bet. This is often something that is very difficult for a person to do when the most thrill they get from a game is when they are winning their bet. For the person in love with football gambling a little break can feel like an eternity. Another exercise you can do is to pretend that you are betting on the game. Do your research and watch the spreads. Then determine who you think will win. Watch the game and see what happens. If you’re still “losing” then maybe you need to continue your hiatus from football gambling. When things seem to start getting better, then maybe a couple small bets can be successfully made. By gradually working into the swing of things you should be able to still make some winning bets and if you lose, at least they weren’t large bets.
