Team Information
Founded in 1919, the Chicago Bears have captured nine league championships. The second best record in the NFL. They trail only their long standing rivals the Green Bay Packers who have twelve.
In 1985, "Da Bears", as they were sometimes called, recorded the Grammy nominated "Super Bowl Shuffle". They risked embarrassment by releasing the song before the playoffs, but ultimately went on to win the Super Bowl that year. The song made it to number 41 on Billboard's Top 50.
The Bears have had twenty six members inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The most of any team. If you want to bet on football, the Bears are a good bet.
Soldiers Field has been the home of the Bears since 1970, with the exception of a brief closure for renovations from January 2002 to September 2003.
