Team Information
The Cincinnati Bengals were founded in 1968. They made their first playoff appearance in 1970, losing to the Colts who went on to win the Super Bowl. The Bengals have appeared in the Super Bowl twice in 1981 and 1988. Losing to the 49ers both times.
They have spring training in Georgetown, Kentucky at Georgetown University but have played home games at Paul Brown Stadium since 2000. Before that they played home games at Riverfront Stadium (1970's to 2000) and Nippert Stadium.
The Bengals have also contributed to the NFL Culture. They were best known for the "Ickey Shuffle". A dance Ickey Woods made famous every time he scored a touchdown.
Although the Bengals struggled in the 90's, they have turned things around in recent years. Look for them in the playoffs and check out our nfl playoff spreads for more playoff information.
