Team Information
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a fairly new team to the NFL. They beat out 3 other cities to become one of the new expansion teams in 1995.
The Jaguars started their first season with a record of 4-12. The Jaguars made the playoffs in each of the next 4 seasons. They made it to the AFC Championship game in 1996 losing to the New England Patriots. In 1997, while they did make the playoffs they were defeated early on. In the 1998 season they won the AFC Central Division and in 1999 they led the NFL with a regular season record of 14-2. They started out that year's playoffs strong with 62-7 win over the Miami Dolphins however, they again did not win the AFC championship game.
After a couple of disappointing seasons due in large part to the teams problem with it's salary cap position, the Jaguars have come back strong. They returned to the playoffs in 2003. See our vegas lines nfl and more.
The team's colors are teal, black and gold. Their logo is a snarling jaguar's head.
