NASCAR Betting Odds Fans Bet on their Favorites
NACAR has become a household term and races are enjoyed by millions of loyal fans annually. Each week the fans engage in NASCAR betting odds wagering to support their favorite drivers.
There are over 1500 races per year that are sponsored by the association which governs all of stock car racing, the overseeing body known as NASCAR. NASCAR has grown in popularity each year, and the NASCAR fan base has increased annually. One of the reasons, of course, for the popularity of NASCAR is the public’s overall fascination with speed and competition. There has always been something exhilarating to witnessing a race competition. Another reason for NASCAR’S heightened popularity is the immense exposure the sport has received on network television. Corporate sponsorship is at an all-time high as executives attempt to get their companies in on the publicity. These executives are well aware that the television ratings of NASCAR rank second only to the National Football League in terms of viewing audience. The emblem or logo of a company on the car or on the uniform of the driver is worth more than the television commercials they can sponsor. It is no wonder that the wealthiest companies in the world sponsor more NASCAR events than they sponsor any other sport.
There are many races from which to choose that may pique the bettor’s interest on any given weekend. Let us take as an illustration a weekend in mid-June in which there were NASCAR betting odds offered on three races of significance. The Michigan 200 was held at the Michigan Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Mike Martin was the favorite at race time with 9/2 NASCAR betting odds. Another race of international interest on that weekend was the Busch 300 at the Kentucky Speedway. Carl Edwards was the fan favorite and went off with NASCAR betting odds at even money. He lost the race, by the way. The final race of the weekend was the Citizen’s Bank 400 at the Michigan Speedway, the day after the “200” was run. The NASCAR betting odds had Jimmie Johnson at 4-1. There are racing venues each weekend for the NASCAR enthusiast to enjoy, and the fans and sports investors can bet on their favorite drivers.
